If you have an expertise in overseeing the procurement of materials and services required for solar energy projects, then this is the role for you!

How you will contribute:

  • Supplier Selection and Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for solar project components, including solar panels, inverters, electrical panels, cables, Plant telemetry, tracker /Module mounting structure and other necessary equipment.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards. Monitor and assess supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contracts and quality expectations.
  • Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies to optimize project budgets. Continuously evaluate market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with the project team to control procurement expenses and achieve cost targets.
  • Materials and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring that project sites have the necessary materials and equipment. Oversee the ordering and delivery of materials, coordinating with project schedules to avoid delays.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured materials meet quality and safety standards. Implement quality control procedures to minimize defects and errors in solar components.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers, including terms and conditions, warranties, and service agreements. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and emerging suppliers. Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and finance, to ensure procurement aligns with project goals and timelines. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on procurement status and issues.

Ideal Skills for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) is a must, Certifications in procurement or supply chain management may be a plus.
  • Engineering fresher or proven experience in procurement, particularly in the renewable energy or solar industry for experience candidate for Associate or Managerial position.

We are looking to hire for our investment team for Delhi.

If you have an expertise in handling financial modelling, performing financial due diligence and managing the invest life cycle, then this is the role for you!

How you will contribute:

  • Creating financial models for our solar, wind and hybrid projects for both C&I and utility businesses as well as strategic investments.
  • Managing the investment life cycle in the projects and preparing a sound investment framework to maximize consolidated returns.
  • Taking the investment opportunities through the investment including exposure to our international institutional investors.
  • Performing financial due diligence and analysis on prospective projects and recommending an investment decision.
  • Monitoring & reporting of KPIs to investors related to their investments regularly.
  • Preparation of financial documents for presentation to potential and current investors on specific investments – Information Memorandum and Prospectus.
  • Liaising with external parties such as Investment banks, Syndicate Consultants, Investment Consultants, etc. for potential deal flow, M&A, and investment opportunities.

Ideal skills for this role include:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, candidates with experience in the renewable energy industry and experience in equity transactions are essential.
  • Should have a good understanding of key regulatory frameworks governing Financial Instruments such as RBI NBFC Framework, and SEBI Regulations and ensure that all investment compliance regulations are met.

The Business Development team plays a vital role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships and driving the growth and success of the company. The team’s efforts are critical in helping the organization to achieve its mission of delivering sustainable and clean energy solutions to the world.

We’re looking for 2 experienced professionals who can manage our Open Access business or DG/Rooftop business for Northern India.

1) Open access – Business Development:

How you will contribute:

  • Identify new opportunities with Commercial & Industrial Segment for Open Access / Group Captive PPA/ Third Party. Conduct periodic meetings with customers to understand their needs and obtain feedback.
  • Analyzing the electricity bills and consumption pattern of the Potential Consumers to finalize the Capacity and best suited solutions.
  • Analyzing the regulatory framework and identifying the best suited RE solution. Petition analysis, filing, with quantitative and qualitative analysis of regulatory issues and dynamics
  • Work closely with cross-functional internal teams, including design, engineering, project management and others to help develop and deliver projects.
  • Interact with various stakeholders within the customer organization (for feasible opportunities) to understand their requirements and present AMPIN’s USP;
  • Initiate/lead negotiations with buyers to finalize the terms and conditions of PPA and Share Holdings Agreements.
  • Meeting and taking up open issues with various State DISCOM, TRANSCO, SLDC’s, Nodal Agency, Regulatory commissions.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory framework as well as other parameters (third party tariffs, consumer preferences, competitors) impacting Open Access PPAs; Provide regular updates to team on the same.; analyze their impact on AMPIN’s business and growth prospects and inform the management.

Ideal Skills for this role include:

  • Graduate in Engineering; MBA degree would be preferred
  • 5+ years of experiences in business development preferably in Power Sales
  • Relevant experience in Power Sales with good regulatory framework understanding
  • Excellent inter – personal skills and communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate and finalize PPA, SPSSA
  • Understanding of photovoltaic technology and installation
  • Should be willing to travel nationally

2) DG/Rooftop – Business Development:

How you will contribute:

  • Acquisition of new customers for on-site/off-site solar projects.
  • Work on pre-sales activities starting with understanding client requirements, site feasibility study and proposal preparation.
  • Generate and maintain relationships with relevant business associates/channel partners.
  • Management of existing customers from pre-sales to project delivery and collections including resolving any issues.
  • Manage technical and commercial negotiations of power purchase agreements (PPA) and ensure finalization of orders.
  • Plan and create a marketing strategy to penetrate new states.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering drawings; Understanding of photovoltaic technology and installation.

Ideal skills for this role include:

  • 3+ years of B2B experience in business development, preferably in the solar Roof-top
  • Work experience particularly with C&I consumers
  • Experience in negotiating Long term Power purchase agreements and EPC contracts
  • B.Tech(in any stream); candidates with MBA would be preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and technical skills to work closely with Engineering to finalize the capacity etc.

    • Meeting the compliance requirement of lenders for facilities in different SPVs by arranging the documents through internal coordination with different teams.
    • Working on arranging credit ratings of different projects.
    • Collection of Data from concerned departments periodically, prepare and update MIS.

    • 3+ years of relevant debt financing and project management experience (Designations would differ accordingly).

    How you will contribute:

    We are looking for a highly skilled Operations & Maintenance Engineer to lead/oversee the solar and wind power projects. Your will be responsible for:

    • Preparation of daily generation, monthly generation, and complete Solar/wind plant operations report
    • Overlooking the performance of Solar/wind plant, invoice raising, payment collection, revenue growth of company; Managing the renewable energy power plants including local coordination with local government authorities/ clients /vendors and security of the plant
    • Overseeing the O&M plant which includes Performance Monitoring, Compliance Management, Spares Management, Vendor payments for site
    • Timely monitoring and tracking of compliances for renewable energy power plant, as when applicable

    How you will contribute:

    • You will be responsible for ensuring land registration, identification, due diligence, obtaining clearances and approvals for states like Chhattisgarh, Orissa, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Assam.
    • Looking after Land related liasoning and closures with Land Registration and Contouring along with Land related commercials, inspection of ownership and due diligence for the above mentioned states
    • Handling Government Agencies, Land Aggregators, Arbitration and land related litigation as required.
    • You will be responsible for CLU (Change of land use); Title search, Forest land/Agricultural land conversion to industrial land for Solar Power Project and document submission to PD/ Project Finance

    Ideal Skills for this role include:

    • 6+ years of experience in land acquisition and related matters, with demonstrated ability of land closures in large land parcels.

    How you will contribute:

    • Assisting in corporate secretarial function for AMPIN Energy Transition’s group entities.
    • Ensuring high standard of corporate governance, conducting board and committee meetings, post and pre meeting documentation, ensure necessary filing, monitoring compliances, record keeping, provide relevant corporate secretarial support under various jurisdiction.
    • Maintaining statutory books, including registers of members, directors and secretaries for the group entities.
