MMRCL is a special purpose company jointly sponsored by Maharashtra government and the Union government in 2015 for the implementation of all metro projects in the State of Maharashtra outside Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
The project, which is AMPIN Energy’s first in Maharashtra’s metro sector, follows its successful ventures with L&T Metro and Kochi Metro. Divided into two packages – 2.5 MWp and 3.5 MWp – the solar installation will be distributed across 19 sites including metro station rooftops and administrative buildings.
