AMPIN Energy Transition is looking for someone who can be responsible for project development for south (Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh). Identifying new and hybrid projects, conducting due diligence and ensuring the project is shovel-ready for construction take over.

How you will contribute:

• Visiting new Identified potential sites majorly in south India for building pipeline and development of hybrid projects.
• Day to day coordination with various developers, partners.
• Detailed due diligence and shortlisting of potential sites in terms of land, resource, and evacuation.
• Evaluating Land and regulatory policies of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
• Plan sites and completion of due diligence including preparation of applications, finalization, submission and tracking the application. Coordination with different government agencies related to applied permits and approvals.
• Coordinate with local aggregator for land identification and acquisition.
• Coordination with different government agencies related to applied permits and approvals including KREDL, NREDCAP, TANGEDCO, and also for state connectivity applications.
• Finalize terms, commercial and contracts for initial development.
• Identify potential new vendors, developers, contractors for development and construction of project.
• Plan and handover sites to the construction team with all initial approvals before the start of the construction.

Ideal Skills for this role include:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in wind industry.
• BTech / BE / MTech and well versed with Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh state rules, regulations, and policies.
• Fluency in Kannada and Telugu language.

How you will contribute:

• Coordinating with all the regions on projects under construction or development phase for proper planning, scheduling, monitoring and control towards timely delivery.
• Coordinating with EPC partners for taking up the slippages in projects and work out catch-up plan to bring it back on track as per scheduled milestone.
• Supporting with planning and execution of solar projects within timeline and budgets.
• Project planning over MSP and progress presentation to management.

• Coordinating between Back-office Engineering, Procurement, site teams & other stakeholders for effective project construction.

• 3-7 Years experience in project management operations in renewable energy sector.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured materials meet quality and safety standards. Implement quality control procedures to minimize defects and errors in solar components.

Ideal Skills for this role include:

• 6+ years of experience in land acquisition and related matters, with demonstrated ability of land closures in large land parcels.

• Should be well versed with commercial terms and terminologies, payment process, legal verification of documents and ownership and due diligence in all related matters pertaining to land.
