Case Study: 1.2 MW (Rooftop), Multiple Sites, Madhya Pradesh

This project is one of its kind where solar is installed on government institutions and was implemented under the Central Government’s Rooftop Solar Programme with support from the World Bank under the Global Environment Facility Fund.

AMPIN Energy has installed 1.2 MW (out of total 2.25 MW) rooftop across Educational Institutions in Madhya Pradesh. AMPIN won this bid under Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd’s First ever Solar Rooftop Tender under RESCO mode.

The 1.2 MW capacity is installed across 5 sites in Madhya Pradesh such as Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior and supplies power to educational institutions such as National Law University, School of Planning & Architecture, CIPET, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management and Pandit Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing.

The solar power from these rooftop plants helps meet the energy requirements of these educational institutions and helps them to make positive impact on the environment.
