This plant is the first captive solar open access project. AMPIN Energy Transition has set up a captive solar open access project in Uttar Pradesh. As part of Airtel’s green initiative and sustainable development, this plant supplies solar power to meet the energy requirements for its data center facility (Nxtra Data) in the state. With datacentres playing a key role to India’s digital economy and this solar project (supplying power to Airtel’s data centres) supports the Government’s Digital India mission of transforming India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.
